How companies and organizations can contribute to the SDG1 No poverty?
This includes all business activities and investments businesses can make to develop social protection systems and financial inclusion and employment in the community.
For example, businesses can help to increase the amount of resources to improve essential services (education, social protection and health services) for all in the community where they operate or elsewhere. SDG1 contribution can also include investing in programs that decrease gender related poverty, such as, finding full gender equality in recruitments.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) need the private sector for realizing them and businesses need the SDGs for leading the transformation into more sustainable, inclusive and resilient world where they will be better placed for emerging market possibilities and navigating risks.
